Monday Probability 13: Darts

My probability of hitting a dart in the central circle is uniformly distributed between 0.4 to 0.6. Let’s say I take the first shot and hit it inside the circle. What is the chance that my next hit goes inside the circle too?

Aren't they independent events?

ReplyDeleteThe issue here is that probability itself is a random variable here.
